As a federally designated Area Agency on Aging, the Northwest Kansas Area Agency prepares an Area Plan on Aging every four years and updates it annually. The Area Plan describes the AAA's future activities over the coming four years, detailing the specific services to be provided to the older adults of Northwest Kansas.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
The Northwest Kansas Area Agency on Aging seeks public input for the Area Plan on Aging Update for FY 2027. A public hearing will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 10:00 am at Thirsty's Venue, 2704 Vine St, in Hays. Those unable to attend are encouraged to submit written comments to nwkaaa@nwkaaa.org or by mail to NWKAAA, PO Box 610, Hays, KS 67601. The deadline for submitting written comments is August 15, 2026. Copies of the plan will be available for review in the agency office on the date of the public hearing.
